Biographical Information of the apostles:"And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers." (Matthew 4:18)

As in the case with all of the ministry in The Church of Jesus Christ, our apostles are not paid any money for their work in The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each holds a regular job to provide for himself and his family. Jesus said, "freely ye have received, freely give." (Matthew, 10:8)
